Nonsurgical
Liquid Rhinoplasty
Uses hyaluronic acid filler to refine the shape of the nose without surgery. Appropriate for specific shape concerns; not a substitute for a surgical rhinoplasty in most cases.
Overview
Liquid rhinoplasty uses small, precise injections of hyaluronic acid filler to refine the nose's shape. It can camouflage a dorsal hump, straighten a deviated dorsum, lift a slightly droopy tip, or improve definition. The procedure is minimally invasive and reversible, but it has clear limits: it can only add volume, not reduce it, so it cannot make a large nose smaller. Patient selection matters and not every cosmetic concern is appropriate for filler. Dr. Azadgoli will recommend surgery instead when filler is not the right tool.
Who it's for
The right candidate.
Patients with specific shape concerns — a dorsal hump that can be camouflaged with bridge augmentation, a slightly droopy tip, asymmetry that can be evened — who want a non-surgical option. Not appropriate for reducing nose size or addressing significant deviation.
Technique
How it's done.
Small, precise injections of hyaluronic acid filler are placed in specific points along the nose. The procedure takes ten to twenty minutes and the result is visible immediately.
What to expect
From consultation to recovery.
Mild swelling and possible bruising for several days. Result lasts six to twelve months on average. Reversible with hyaluronidase if needed.

FAQ
Common questions.
Liquid or surgical rhinoplasty?
Liquid rhinoplasty can only add volume — it cannot reduce nose size or address structural problems. Surgical rhinoplasty addresses size, structure, and breathing. The right choice depends on what you want to address.
Is it safe?
When performed by an experienced injector with knowledge of nasal anatomy, yes. The nose has vasculature that requires careful technique; this procedure should only be performed by surgeons or experienced injectors familiar with the vascular anatomy.
Will it last?
Six to twelve months for most patients. Some areas of the nose hold filler longer than others. Repeat treatment is needed to maintain the result.
Is liquid rhinoplasty safe?
When performed by an experienced injector with knowledge of nasal vascular anatomy, yes. The nose has vasculature that requires careful technique to avoid serious complications. This is one procedure that should always be done by a surgeon or experienced practitioner.
Can it make my nose smaller?
No. Filler can only add volume. It cannot reduce nose size — that requires surgery. The result is improved contour and symmetry using strategic volume additions.
How long should I wait between sessions?
Most patients return at three to four months if a touch-up is needed, then maintain every six to twelve months.
